XXV Tariff Conference has adopted the Tariff Policy of railways of the CIS member states on the carriage of goods in the international traffic for freight year 2017

Railway Administrations — Members of the Tariff Agreement have adopted the tariff policy of railways of the CIS member states on the carriage of goods in the international traffic for freight year 2017.

The tariff policy for the next year was adopted at the XXV Tariff Conference held under the chairmanship of the Office of the Tariff policy affairs — “KTZ-Freight transportation” JSC in Tsakhkadzor (Armenia).

Representatives of the railway administrations of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania adopted amendments and additions to the rules of calculation of freight charges for the carriage of goods in the international traffic and tariff conditions of railway administrations.

The tariff policy has been developed in accordance with the basic principles of the Concept of establishing coordinated tariff policy in rail transport states — participants of the CIS. The Concept was approved by Council of Heads of Commonwealth Governments in October 1996.
