Over a hundred positions of railway products were manufactured at the design and experimental center in 2018
The Design and Experimental Center (CEC) of the Almaty Division of Freight Transport JSC NC KTZ expanded the list of products from 82 to 109 positions in 2018.
The company develops technical documentation and manufactures technological and non-standard equipment for it, small-scale mechanization tools, tools, spare parts for railway vehicles at the request of branches of structural subdivisions of NC KTZ JSC.
“In the CEC, you can order a roller for the suspension of brake shoes of carriages of trucks, a key for loosening the spinton nuts of passenger cars, a hammer for an inspector of cars, and much more. We are making a universal fitting stop, which is necessary for ensuring traffic safety, for the preservation of cargoes transported by large-capacity containers on fitting railway platforms, ”says MEC Head Mukhametkali Eleshev.
Enhancement and expansion of the list of manufactured and repaired spare parts and equipment allowed the modernization of CEC. Production sites are reinforced with additional machine tools. In addition, a forging department and a welding area were created and put into operation.
KEC specialists participate in the operational tests of railway vehicles, in the examination of rationalization proposals, the development on their basis of technical documentation and the production of prototypes, in the certification of welders of structural subdivisions of JSC “KTZ”.
As M.Eleshev noted, in the future it is planned to open a technical class for training and raising the level of skills of welders, slingers and other professionals.
In addition, the CEC team plans to continue expanding the list of items for serial production, to organize the calibration and analysis of test equipment, experimental samples and metal products for compliance with the declared parameters.
“The design and experimental center has great potential and prospects for further development. Center employees are ready to perform any design and complex tasks, ”M. Eleshev emphasized.
