Derailing of a car happened on the railway section of Degelen-Semey

On December 24, 2016 at 12.20 on Degelen-Semey section of the Semey branch of the railway when a freight train № 3498 was moving there happened a derailing of a car belonging to “Petroleum” LLP.

No casualties were reported.

A recovery train arrived to the place. A special commission of “NC “KTZh” JSC, made of representatives of “Petroleum” LLP, is working. According to preliminary data, the cause of the car derailing was a break of a side frame. The owner of the car will be charged with a demand for the restoration of the damage.

Currently train traffic at the site is temporary stopped. Passenger trains on the routes “Leninogorsk-Astana”, “Almaty-1-Pavlodar”, “Pavlodar-Almaty-1” will arrive at their destination with a delay.

Traffic resume is scheduled for 21.30.
